Anyone know if a snowthrower from a 212 can be adapted for a 318?

As an engineer I can tell you definitively, NOTHING is impossible, whether or not it is worth the time, effort and expense is another story....

Ask a dealer, they should have a cross-reference as to what accessories fit what models, I'm sure you're not the first person to have this problem, lots of people buy new tractors and want to reuse existing implements.

Best of luck. ....

I had both a 214 with a 37a blower and a 312 with a 49 blower. The frame mount is the same but you have a blower with a side pto (37a) and trying to make it run of a front pto (49) Cutting the frame adding a 90 degree gear box, etc. Plus added hydro cylinder to lift it. It would be easyer to sell the 212 blower and buy a one that was designed for fit the 318 (they made both single and two stage blower for the 318). The 37a blower is only 38" wide while the 49 is 46" wide. the two stage blower is 47" wide. So the 37a is two narrow for the 318 anyways. ....
